It reports what the public record shows; it does not allege fraud or wrongdoing.
This service is not a consumer reporting agency and these results are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. They must not be used in whole or in part to make decisions about an individual's employment, credit, insurance, housing/tenancy, or any other FCRA-covered purpose. Verifying a business entity's registration is a business-to-business / informational use only.
A company may be validly registered in a state without a keyless public API (e.g. Delaware, Florida, California), under a different legal name, as a DBA, or as a sole proprietorship. A "not found" result means we did not find a matching record in the sources we can poll — nothing more. Always verify directly with the cited authority before making any decision.
